The CL - 8 is a high capacity cleaner suitable for maize and wheat. The frame is an all steel rectangular tube construction.The cleaning box is manufactured from plywood. The screen frames are removable and are covered with perforated screening plates. The cleaning box is suspended from the frame with reinforced fiber glass straps. Product is sifted through the screens by means of an oscillating motion from the eccentric drive.

The cleaner is equipped with an inlet feeder mechanism which spreads the product over the entire width of the screen. This feeder mechanism is adjustable to suit the rate of feed into the machine.

An efficient aspiration unit is incorporated into the cleaner to remove all dust and other light particles.

The cleaner can handle a capacity of up to 8 t/hr and produces the following 4 separations:

1. Clean product
2. Dust and other light particles (via aspiration)
3. Oversized material i.e. cobs, stalks etc.
4. Undersized, broken maize and sand.

This is an efficient and robust machine.
